**Bradykinesia after stroke. Watch what one ZSA session does**

Quick story

May 2024. This patient survives a haemorrhagic stroke. By August he's in rehab, walking again. Family thinks he's on his way back

Then everything reverses

A few months later the neurologist drops the diagnosis: atypical Parkinson's. The stroke damaged his basal ganglia. That damage triggered Parkinson's symptoms

Here's what didn't work

Levodopa — made him sick

Botox — three rounds. Nothing

Physio. Standard acupuncture. Months of it. No change

By the time he reached us, he was dragging his left foot. Bradykinesia on the affected side you could see in something as simple as a bicep curl. The arm just wouldn't fire

Here's where ZSA does something different

Bradykinesia isn't a muscle problem. It's a signalling problem. The basal ganglia controls movement initiation. When it's damaged, the signal from brain to body lags

⚡ Day 4 – the final day of the Neuro-Meridian Acupuncture Seminar, and what a journey it has been

Over these 4 days, Acupuncturists have had their minds blown, diving deep into S.M.A.R.T. neuron-modulation, nerve mapping, and precise needling techniques

On the 4th day, the focus was on palpation and treatment of neck muscles—the sternocleidomastoid, scalenes, and levator scapulae

We then moved on to complex neurological symptoms of the face, including TMJ and Bell’s palsy, working on muscles like the masseter, pterygoid, and temporalis

Hands-on practice brought everything to life, with attendees feeling the subtle nuances of anatomy, technique, and neurological connections
