Yesterday, we welcomed students back to campus. It was good to have everyone in the same room again. New faces, returning ones, and the kind of noise that means people are actually happy to be there. Midway through, we recognised the students who worked hard last term. Their results, their effort in class, their consistency — it showed, and it deserved a moment. To everyone who came: welcome back. To the awardees: that one's yours.
