Children explored the life cycle of a bee through an interactive projector experience. They learned about the different stages of development, from egg to larva, pupa, and adult bee. Through visual images, discussions, and collaborative learning, children developed their understanding of how living things grow and change over time. The experience also encouraged curiosity about the natural world and the important role bees play in pollination and supporting healthy ecosystems. Children engaged in asking questions, sharing their ideas, and making connections between bees and the plants and flowers in their environment. This learning supported the development of scientific thinking, observation skills, and an appreciation for nature and sustainability.

Our educators have been teaching protective strategies to children, helping them understand important concepts such as My Body, My Rules and personal body boundaries. Through these learning experiences, children are developing an understanding of body safety, consent, respectful relationships, and how to recognize and communicate their feelings and boundaries with others.

Yummy spinach and ricotta scones were on the menu for afternoon tea today!
Our children thoroughly enjoyed this healthy and delicious treat, eagerly tasting every bite. Afternoon tea is a wonderful opportunity to introduce nutritious foods in a fun and enjoyable way, and the spinach and ricotta scones were a big hit. As the children shared their snack together, they practiced social skills, independence, and healthy eating habits.
It's always rewarding to see children exploring new flavors and developing a positive relationship with wholesome foods. A tasty and nutritious afternoon tea helps fuel their growing bodies while creating enjoyable moments with friends.

The weather can't stop us from having fun! ☔💦

Our children, dressed in their rain gear, embraced the rainy day with excitement and curiosity. They spent their time jumping in puddles, splashing through water, and exploring the sights and sounds that come with wet weather.
What may seem like simple play is actually a wonderful learning experience. Through their adventures, the children developed confidence, coordination, and an appreciation for nature. They learned about the weather, experimented with cause and effect, and engaged their senses in a meaningful way. Most importantly, they created joyful memories while learning that fun and discovery can happen in all kinds of weather.

During National Reconciliation Week, we celebrated the theme “All In”, encouraging everyone to learn, participate, and contribute to reconciliation. The children engaged in a variety of meaningful activities, including Indigenous storytelling, art and craft experiences, music and movement, discussions about respect and inclusion, and learning about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and connections to Country. Through these experiences, children developed an appreciation for diversity, belonging, and the importance of building respectful relationships within our community. The 2026 theme "All In" is a call for everyone to actively participate in reconciliation every day.

Goodstart Hampton Park Coral Drive had a lovely Kinder Information Session last week, and it was wonderful to see the families who were able to join us to learn about our kinder program that we deliver in both 3 and 4 year kinder rooms. A special thank‑you to St Kevin’s School for sharing valuable information and supporting our families as they prepare for the next steps in their learning journey

🐝🌼 World Bee Day 🌼🐝

Throughout the week children and educators celebrated The World Bee Day by learning about the important role bees play in keeping our planet healthy. 🌏💛
🐝🌼 At our centre, the children explored the fascinating world of bees through fun and engaging activities. From learning how bees make honey to understanding why protecting their habitats is so important, our little learners showed great curiosity and excitement. 🐝✨

Through fun activities, children discovered how bees help plants grow and why it’s important to protect them. 🌸🐝

Together, we’re nurturing care for nature—one little bee at a time! 💚

Have a look at our play spaces from all the rooms.

Goodstart Hampton Park Coral Drive- Our children and staff practiced an offsite evacuation drill, and the children did an amazing job. We walked together to our designated safe meeting point, using calm voices, listening carefully to educators, and staying connected as a group. Safety is always our first priority, and these drills are an important part of our ongoing compliance requirements to ensure we’re fully prepared for any emergency. We’re so proud of how confidently and responsibly the children participated.
