Good English ≠ Good Writing ✍️

Many students have great reading, vocabulary, and grammar skills, but completely freeze when it’s time to put pen to paper. What they are truly missing is systematic writing training.

Do any of these sound familiar when your child writes?
💭 Struggling with how to start
📝 Messy, disorganised structures
📉 Underdeveloped paragraphs with weak ideas
⏳ Always running out of time during exams

Especially when sitting for Scholarship or SEAL Program exams, simply "knowing English" isn't enough. Students need to know how to plan quickly, organise clearly, and express ideas logically under time pressure! ⏱️

🏆 The Qs Special Writing Program provides a complete pathway to transform your child's writing skills:

🔥 1. July Holiday Intensive
🎯 Exam-Focused Preparation: Designed for Scholarship & SEAL exams.
📝 Targeted Training: Focuses on the two most common exam text types: Narrative & Persuasive Writing.
⚡ Results: Master quick planning and complete strong responses under timed conditions.

🌱 2. Term 3 Special Writing
🎯 Long-Term Development: A structured 10-week ongoing writing pathway.
📝 Skill Building: Explores multiple text types while upgrading vocabulary, grammar, paragraph development, and crucial editing skills.

Strong writers are made, not born. Help your child build transferable writing skills and true confidence this holiday and in Term 3! ✨

🏆 Straight A’s at school, but stuck on the AMC?

Many students have a solid foundation in school maths, but AMC-style questions often require a completely different approach.

Why? Because competition maths is not just about calculation—it’s about understanding complex questions, finding hidden clues, and reasoning step-by-step. 🔍

To help your child get ready, Qs School has designed the ultimate two-step preparation strategy:

🚀 July Holiday Program
Math Competition Preparation
Need to get in the zone? We focus on building exam intuition! Students will familiarise themselves with core AMC question types, practise smart problem-solving strategies, and master exam pacing. Walk into the test with confidence. 💯

🌱Term 3 Olympiad Maths
True mathematical thinking takes time. This term, we focus on developing your child's underlying logic, spatial reasoning, and advanced problem-solving skills. We transition students from relying on intuition to knowing exactly how to break down a difficult problem. 🧩

The AMC is only one step in your child’s maths journey. What truly matters is helping them build the resilience to analyse, decipher, and conquer challenges without giving up! 💡

⏰ 2026 July Holiday & Term 3 enrolments are open and filling fast!
To secure your child's seat, we strongly advise enrolling as early as possible.

Planning for 2028 Korowa Scholarships?
Understand the AAS Test First

Korowa scholarships are mainly for Year 7 entry in 2028, with limited places also available for selected other year levels. Applicants are required to sit the AAS scholarship test, which mainly assesses Writing, Reading Comprehension, Mathematics and Reasoning.

AAS is not only about testing school knowledge. It also focuses on how well students can understand information, analyse problems, answer accurately under time pressure and express ideas clearly. Korowa may also consider School Reports, NAPLAN results, application materials and Activity Morning performance as part of the overall assessment. Therefore, scholarship preparation should go beyond last-minute practice.

Join our Qs English Scholarship Seminar to better understand the Korowa scholarship process, AAS exam focus and preparation strategies. Qs also offers Trial Test Programs in both Term classes and Holiday Programs, helping students experience the exam format, understand their current readiness and prepare more effectively for future scholarship applications.

Qs EQ Program|Every Choice Is a Vote for the Future

We often think environmental issues are far away from our daily lives.
But in reality, what children buy, use, and throw away every day is connected to the world around them.

In this Qs EQ lesson, students explore Environmental Stewardship:
from microplastics and the food chain to the idea of the “consumer vote.”

They learn that waste doesn’t simply disappear,
and every choice we make says something about the kind of world we want to live in.

Choosing less packaging, using reusable lunchboxes and water bottles, and reducing single-use items may seem like small actions,
but they help children build an important understanding:

My choices can shape the world I want to live in.

Environmental stewardship is not just a slogan.
It starts with the small choices children make every day.

From hallways to classrooms, from libraries to cinemas, children bring more than just their bags into a space.
They also bring their noise, their energy, and their respect for the people around them.

In this Qs EQ lesson, students explore Shared-Space Respect.
They learn that everyone leaves a “wake” as they move through a space — an invisible impact on the atmosphere around them.

Being loud or disruptive leaves one kind of impact.
Moving calmly, noticing others, and leaving a space better than before leaves another.

By learning to read the room, adjust their volume, and match the atmosphere, children build empathy, self-regulation, and social awareness.

From the hallway to the wider world, respecting shared spaces helps children learn how to live, learn, and grow alongside others.

Trash Origami with Professor Puddlewick

This is part of our Qs Campus ESG Stewardship Project.
In this video, Professor Puddlewick guides students to make rubbish smaller before throwing it away.

Students will learn how to:
✅ Open and flatten drink cartons
✅ Press bottles down
✅ Flatten packaging
✅ Try the slit bin test before disposal

Trash Origami is more than reducing waste volume.
It helps students take responsibility for their own rubbish and care for shared spaces.

Smaller rubbish. Cleaner spaces.
