Another fantastic term of Breakfast Club has come to an end, and what a wonderful term it has been! π₯£πβ¨
Breakfast Club is so much more than just breakfast. It helps fill hungry tummies, provides a calm and welcoming start to the day, supports students who may find morning drop offs challenging, and makes busy Monday and Friday mornings a little easier for families.
We love seeing students connect, chat with friends, and start their day feeling happy, settled, and ready to learn.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back next term! Join us in the Art Room every Monday and Friday morning for a delicious range of breakfast options, including Mrs Haleyβs famous homemade pancakes! π₯π

Our Outdoor Learning program is one of the many amazing programs we offer that set us apart from the rest! π±ππΏ
Students from Prep to Year 6 participate in Outdoor Learning sessions with a specialist teacher, where they develop practical skills, deepen their understanding of the natural world, and enjoy hands-on learning in the great outdoors.
Throughout the year, students explore a wide range of topics including:
π» Planting, growing, and caring for plants
π Bees, pollinators, and biodiversity
π¦ The role of butterflies and insects in the garden ecosystem
π₯ Seasonal vegetable gardening, harvesting, and cooking
β»οΈ Composting, recycling, and waste reduction
π Sustainability and environmental stewardship
π Chickens and worms as important garden helpers
π± Understanding soil science and plant nutrients
π§ Healthy waterways and aquatic ecosystems
πΈ The role of frogs, fish, turtles, and yabbies in the environment
πΏ Native vegetation and the impact of invasive species
β€οΈ Cultural and Indigenous connections to Country and sustainable land management
These experiences provide authentic, real-world learning opportunities that help students develop responsibility, curiosity, environmental awareness, and a connection to nature.
And thatβs just the beginning!! There is so much more to discover in Outdoor Learning! How lucky are we to have such an incredible program right here at Moorooduc Primary School? ππ±

Although Moorooduc Primary School is a zoned school, the township of Moorooduc has quite a small population. As a result, previous Prep enrolments have seen several families from outside the zone successfully enrol at Moorooduc PS!
If you live outside our zone, please contact us on (03) 5978 8330 to discuss your options.π
