Our Year 12 students got their groove on and dressed to impress at their recent Year 12 Formal.

It was a fantastic evening filled with great music, dancing, laughter and plenty of memorable moments as students celebrated together. Thank you to all staff who helped make the night such a success. We hope everyone enjoyed the occasion and the chance to create lasting memories with their peers.

While our VCE students completed the G*T this week, our Year 7, 8 and 9 students enjoyed a day of offsite activities, providing a quieter school environment plus an opportunity for year-level connection.

Year 7 students explored Werribee Zoo, Year 8 students visited Melbourne Zoo, and Year 9 students headed to Docklands for ice skating, bowling and a visit to ArtVo.

Our students had a great day out, enjoying a fun day out alongside their teachers. Thank you to all staff who helped make the day a success.

Congratulations to MSC student Evi Irving on her selection in the 2026 Marsh AFL National Championships, where she will represent Vic Country.

This is an outstanding achievement and recognition of Evi’s talent, dedication and hard work. Earning selection at this level places her among the state’s top young footballers and is a testament to the commitment she brings to her sport.

We wish Evi and the Vic Country team all the very best for the Championships (June 13 to July 11) and look forward to following her journey.

We've watched some fantastic running recently at both Divisional and Regional Cross Country, with our MSC athletes achieving impressive individual results and showing outstanding team support and encouragement for one another. Every effort has been recognised and celebrated by our school community.

Of particular note are the achievements of our U16 Boys team, who placed 1st at Regionals and will now progress to the State Championships to defend their 2025 title.

Congratulations to Rafa, Ethan, Kai and Bailey from the U16 Boys team, and to Hannah, who has also qualified for States. We wish them all the very best for the next stage of competition!

Mornington Primary School senior students enjoyed an action-packed Tabloid Sports session in the MSC Stadium last week, taking part in basketball and soccer shootouts, egg-and-spoon obstacle races, volleyball and a range of other fun challenges.

A big thank you to our Year 7 MSC students, who very capably helped run activities and encouraged participants throughout the day. It was fantastic to see everyone getting involved, working together and having fun.

We are pleased to announce that Adam Slater has been provisionally appointed as the new Principal of Mornington Secondary College and will commence in Term 3.

Adam brings extensive leadership experience, a strong commitment to public education, and a passion for supporting every student to succeed. We look forward to welcoming Adam to the MSC community and working together as we continue to build on the many strengths of our College.
