HUGE congratulations to our amazing friends at Adelaide Aqua Boys. Pat and the team headed over to Perth for the Fluidra Gala this week and came home with South Australia's Best on Ground for Infield Servicing and Technical Assistance.

Well done gang, we're super proud of you 💧

Due to a massive conflict of events at the club on this date, we had to defer honouring Geoff Sulley. Well this week, is the week. What a week to do it too, Past Players Day.

Join us after the game as we chat with Geoff about his playing days at the club and his fond memories, then stay for Presentations and our ANZAC Guernsey Auction.

A reminder to all past players, officials, volunteers and supporters that our Past Players Day is happening this Saturday 20th June from 1:30pm at Emu Park.

Come along and reconnect with old teammates, share a few stories, enjoy some laughs and cheer on the current generation of Emus as they take on the day.

For $10, you'll receive a commemorative stubby holder, a complimentary drink and access to nibbles throughout the afternoon. A $25 drink card will also be available for those wishing to purchase one (5 Beers).

The celebrations don't end there! Stick around after the games for the auction of our 2026 ANZAC Guernseys, worn by both our A Grade Men and A Grade Women, with a portion of the proceeds supporting the Morphett Vale RSL.

Whether you played one game or one hundred, we'd love to see you back at the club.

At the Morphett Vale Football Club, we often celebrate the players who run out onto the field each weekend. But today, we want to shine a light on the people who make it all possible behind the scenes.

To our Coaches, Team Managers, Coordinators, First Aid Officers, Trainers, Time Keepers, Runners, Boundary Umpires, Goal Umpires, Water Runners, Committee Members, Bar Staff, BBQ Chefs, Scoreboard Attendants, and every single person who puts their hand up to help – thank you.

Whether you're setting up before the first game, filling water bottles, cooking a BBQ, running the canteen, helping a player, organising a team, cleaning up after everyone has gone home, or simply stepping in when an extra pair of hands is needed, your contribution matters.

Quite simply, we couldn't do this without you.

A special shout-out must go to our incredible Friday Crew. Every Friday, rain, hail or shine, they quietly go about the jobs that most of us never even notice. Cleaning the grounds, emptying bins, tidying changerooms, completing repairs, preparing the facilities and ensuring Emu Park is ready for another huge weekend of football. They ask for no recognition, but they deserve plenty.

Volunteers are the heartbeat of our club. Your time, effort, dedication and passion help create the welcoming, family-friendly community that we are all proud to be part of.

From all of us at the Morphett Vale Football Club, thank you for everything you do.

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Andy Richards.

For the past 16 years, Andy has been our loyal gateman, welcoming players, members, supporters and visitors through the gates of Emu Park each and every home game. His quick wit and unmistakable presence became a cherished part of game day for so many.

He was a valuable part of our club community and someone who helped make Morphett Vale Football Club feel like home.

Andy will be deeply missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

On behalf of the Morphett Vale Football Club, we extend our sincere condolences to Andy's family and friends during this difficult time.

Thank you for your years of dedication, Andy. Your contribution to our club will never be forgotten.

Rest peacefully.
