๐ Every Day Counts โ Week 10 ๐
As we approach the final days of the term, learning and assessment remain a priority right through to the last day. Every lesson is an opportunity for students to stay engaged, complete important tasks and finish the term strong.
We encourage all students to attend every day, participate in their learning and make the most of the opportunities still ahead. Every day counts, right up until the end of term. ๐

๐ญ Year 9 Quailty Art Drama ๐ญ
Last Monday, our Year 9 QA Drama class of 2026 performed the award-winning Australian play โThe Stonesโ. Based on a true story, The Stones is about risk taking behaviour and the pain of guilt when things go too far. The play places the audience in the position of a jury where they must consider whether the boys are responsible for their actions, or too young to know what they were doing.
Students did an awesome job on stage! โจ

๐ฃ Student Voice Forum 2026 ๐ฃ
On Friday, a group of students from Years 7โ12 came together to participate in our Student Voice Forum, sharing their thoughts, experiences and ideas to help shape the future of Nerang State High School.
The forum provided students with the opportunity to discuss key areas of school life, celebrate what is working well and identify opportunities for future growth. ๐๐ช After three consecutive washouts, our Year 11/12 Girls Rugby League team finally got their season underway at their first gala day of the year!
The girls showed plenty of grit and determination, securing a strong 16โ8 victory over Woodridge SHS before going down in a hard-fought battle against Flagstone SSC, 14โ10.
With limited opportunities to take the field so far this season, the team displayed outstanding resilience, teamwork, and school pride throughout the day. A fantastic effort from all involved, and plenty to build on as the season continues!
