β¨ Putting Faith into Action β¨
Our Kindergarten students have been learning about what it means to love their neighbour and show kindness to others. Today, they put their faith into action by creating beautiful sparkly wands for staff around our school!
Each wand carried the special message: βYou make our school shine.β π
With big smiles and generous hearts, our students delivered their gifts to staff who help make our school such a wonderful place to learn and grow.
We are so proud of our Kindergarten students for spreading joy, showing gratitude and living out the values of love and kindness in such a meaningful way.βοΈβ€οΈ

β€οΈ On the eve of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, our Stage 3 students took part in a meaningful Vinnies Winter Immersion experience, reflecting on Christβs call to love, compassion and service.
Through prayer, eating simple foods, preparing sandwiches for those experiencing homelessness, and listening to the powerful story of a Vinnies guest speaker, students gained a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by many in our community.
As evening approached, students used simple recycled materials such as cardboard to create makeshift shelters, offering a small glimpse into the reality of sleeping rough.
This immersive experience encouraged empathy, gratitude and a commitment to living out the values of the Sacred Heart through acts of kindness and service to others. β€οΈ

Our Kindergarten students have been busy mathematicians, learning to create, model and recognise different combinations for numbers. π’β¨
Using hands-on materials, students explored the many ways numbers can be made. They practised breaking numbers into smaller parts and discovering that there is often more than one way to make the same number.
These experiences help build strong number sense and lay important foundations for future mathematical thinking. We are so proud of the enthusiasm, problem-solving and persistence our students showed during their learning! π
