In Pre-Primary, we have been learning about the artwork of Wayne Thiebaud and his famous cupcake drawings.
Using our directive drawing skills, along with what we have learned about colour and lines, we created our own delicious-looking cupcake artworks. The students worked carefully to add detail, bright colours and creative touches, producing some fantastic masterpieces.
Well done, Pre-Primary! We are so proud of your artistic efforts. πποΈπ§
Our Kindy students had a buzzing good time during the Messines Bee Farm incursion! ππ―

π Year 2 Update π
Our Year 2 students have been having a wonderful time exploring how to measure length using informal units! Instead of rulers, theyβve been getting creative with paper clips, pop sticks, blocks and even their hands to measure objects around the classroom.
Through these hands-on activities, theyβve been discovering that measurements can change depending on the unit used. This has led to some fantastic discussions about which tools work best and why.
Itβs been great to see their curiosity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills in action! πβ¨
