Almost full for Monday.

Empower-Her is a six-week women's self-defence course in Osborne Park, taught as a real course β€” not a one-off. We keep the group small so everyone gets proper attention, which means only a few places left for this intake.

All beginners welcome, no experience needed. If you've been thinking about it β€” message us, no pressure, happy to answer anything.

Empower-Her starts this Monday, June 22 β€” 7pm, in Osborne Park.
Six weeks, women's self-defence, taught as a real course (not a one-off).

The course is led by B'Elanna β€” so you learn from a woman with techniques that work against Andre who assists, There's a reason that matters: in a real situation the person is usually bigger and stronger, so practising against that β€” safely, respectfully, at your own pace β€” is what makes the skills actually work, not just look good in theory.

All beginners welcome. If you've been thinking about it, message us β€” happy to answer anything, no pressure.

The course is led by B'Elanna, with her father Andre alongside her.

B'Elanna teaches Empower-Her and trains the full art every week β€” not a weekend instructor brought in for a women's class.

A father-daughter team, both on the mat, both teaching you directly. In a small group, that means the instruction you get is the instruction that's right for you β€” not forty people following along at the back.

Empower-Her starts Monday 22 June.
Message us to ask anything or hold a place β€” no pressure, just whatever you need to know.

An actual course, not a workshop.

You don't need to get fit first. Or flexible. Or strong.

Empower-Her doesn't ask you to change to fit the training β€” each technique adapted to suit your body as it is now. The skills work because of leverage and timing, not size or strength, so they can be fitted to anyone. That's the whole idea.

It's all beginners, a mix of ages and backgrounds, no experience needed. The first session is the gentlest of the course β€” slow, in pairs, with direct feedback.
Come as you are.

Starts Monday 22 June. Message us β€” no pressure, just ask whatever you need to know.

Empower-Her starts Monday 22 June.

Six weeks, one night a week, in Osborne Park. A women's self-defence course β€” not a one-off workshop, not a seminar. The skills build session by session, so by the end they're yours, not just something you saw once.

Taught by B'Elanna, with AndrΓ© assisting β€” both train every week themselves. Small group, all women, a mix of ages and backgrounds. No experience or fitness needed to start.

If you've been thinking about it, this is the intake. Message us to ask anything or hold a place β€” no pressure, just whatever you need to know.

This is one of the first things you learn in Empower-HER β€” escaping a wrist grab. The instinct is to pull back against the grip, but that turns it into a contest of strength.

Instead, drop your elbows and move your whole body β€” the grip breaks because of how you move, not how hard you pull. It's not a workshop trick; it's a technique you drill until it's there without thinking.

That's the whole idea behind the course: things that work because of leverage and timing, not size or strength.
