5/6 Delta and K Zinnias enjoyed some buddy time. We read books, practised communication skills and practised spelling words.

From an empty garden patch to a delicious vegetable-packed pasta 🌱🍝 Our Stage 3 Garden to Plate has loved growing, harvesting and cooking with our own okra, eggplant, capsicum, beans and a school-made pesto thanks to our very enthusiastic basil crop 🍃

Today we didn’t have a sleep-in… but we did roll out of bed and come to school in our pyjamas! 😴🛏️

Our students were looking dreamy in their PJs, with teddies and soft toys tagging along for some very important moral support. 🧸✨ There were comfy clothes, cosy vibes, and plenty of movie magic as everyone settled in with their stage for a relaxing fundraising afternoon. 🎬🍿

Kindergarten and Stage 1 watched The Emoji Movie — and yes, there were plenty of expressions! 😂😎😍
Stage 2 watched Dog Man — it was paws-itively entertaining! 🐶📚
Stage 3 watched The Wild Robot — a movie that really computed with the crowd! 🤖🌿

A huge congratulations to Year 6, who organised a fantastic movie fundraiser and raised more than $775! That’s no small change — it’s a dream result! 👏💛

Now, after all that excitement, we have just one question…

Can we go to sleep now? 😴🌙

Our Bayanami students continue to shine in the sporting arena, proudly representing the Merrylands Parrmatta Zone at Cross Country and Football over the past week.

🌌 5/6 Galaxy is ready to take the stage! 🌎

Our students have been working hard with 5/6 Earth to prepare a powerful assembly item inspired by The Rabbits.

Next week, they will bring this story to life through dance and pantomime at our whole school assembly. We can’t wait to share their creativity, expression and teamwork with our school community.
