πβ¨ We were delighted to welcome Mr Noriaki Hanaue, Principal, and Ms Atsumi Mitsui, Vice Principal, from Risho Gakuen Osaka Ritsumeikan Junior and Senior High School to our office yesterday. They were accompanied by Mr Jason Hutchinson and Ms Mika Kumagai from GOLD Educational Tours. βοΈπ.
π Since signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) π€π with Mr Hanaue's school in November last year, we have been excited to see our partnership come to life. π±β¨ This term, Risho Gakuen Osaka Ritsumeikan sent its very first immersion group to one of our schools, with students studying at Georgiana Molloy Anglican School as part of a one-term immersion program. πβοΈπ
During our discussions, Mr Hanaue and Ms Mitsui shared how much their students have been enjoying their Australian experience. They have seen remarkable growth in the students' confidence, independence, and maturity.π±πͺβ
Living with host families and adapting to a new culture has encouraged the students to take on greater responsibility, including helping with household chores π§Ήπ½οΈπ§Ί. Many students have even expressed a newfound appreciation for the hard work their mothers do at home every day. π©β€οΈπ
Beyond academic learning, this immersion experience has broadened the students' perspectives π, strengthened their global connections π€, and opened their eyes to opportunities and experiences β¨ that they may never have encountered otherwise. It is wonderful to see how international education can help young people grow both personally and culturally. π±π‘π
We would like to sincerely thank Mr Hanaue and Ms Mitsui for their trust and partnership. π€π We are also grateful to Gold Educational Tours for their outstanding support in providing accommodation, guidance, and care for the students throughout their stay. Their dedication has helped students develop independence, resilience, and the importance of supporting one another. π€π±β¨
Last but certainly not least, a special thank you to Mr Brad Evans, Principal of Georgiana Molloy Anglican School π«π, for hosting the students and spending so much time making them feel welcomed and included. ππ€ From supporting them in school to joining them on the soccer field β½π₯
, his commitment has made a lasting impact on the students' Australian experience. π¦πΊπ
π We look forward to continuing this valued partnership π€π and welcoming many more students in the years ahead. π―π΅β€οΈπ¦πΊ Together, we are creating life-changing opportunities, lifelong friendships, and global connections that will last for years to come. πβ¨ππ
