6 years ago I watched my sister set aside her career to have her two beautiful boys, during a season of life where I hustled hard hitting both career milestones Online Coach & Perth Personal Trainers and physique dream goals IFBB Professional League 🥇
In those moments knowing what she ‘gave up’ petrified me for the day I decided it’s my turn to have children, to the point i started convincing myself “maybe kids aren’t for me”
Fast forward to today, where in reverse I watch her career reflourish tremendously Travel&Ski with JC ✈️ alongside raising her kids, as I wholeheartedly presently lean into the slow life motherhood.
As I resurface from the pits of breastfeeding life, I see the beautiful future where career and kids coexist.
For a Type-A perfectionist the contrast of career life to ‘mat-leave’ motherhood is a total rewire to the system. I’d describe it as prepping yourself for an abseil but on arrival being pushed off the edge for a bungie jump - scary and overwhelming as s**t. 😅
Thank you to INSPIRE + COLLABORATE for this inspiring evening of women crushing careers and motherhood against all adversities. 💖💖💖

I know the “it’s pointless” feels when you know you’re not progressing optimally,
But sometimes the progress simply is NOT FALLING FURTHER backward into regression.
Eg. Breastfeeding is literally sucking the life out of me. She takes so many of my calories I can’t put weight on, I’m too fatigued / time-limited to push training, and have lost so much muscle.
So while training can sometimes feel ‘pointless’ with it not being your best, imagine how much further behind you’d feel if you just gave up!?
Remember consistency is far important than perfection 💛

G 6 months old has proven to be a fab age to travel!
Still breastfeeding but also exciting trying all the foods. G’s loving:
- Scrambled egg
- Steak
- Coconut
- Aburi Salmon
- Tuna
- Dragon fruit
- Mango
- Papaya
- Celery
- Ginger
- Cheese
- *rice cereal only for quick convenience in hotel room (staying away from starch otherwise)
We’ve planned our travel around her nap times and kept her entertained at dinners by playing with food, eg stringy cheese was a hit 🤣
We’ve also had the help of a nanny for a couple hours over us training and spa, and couldn’t recommend it enough. Baby happy, parents actually relaxed, recharged and present to play.
Mamas - I pumped during breakfasts and foot spas.
Don’t ever turn down travel, just plan and find routines amongst the spontaneity.
P.s how many mozzie bites can you count in photo 1? 🤣🤣🤣

pov: you woke up in 30*c paradise, minutes walk from an epic gym and enjoyed the best Japanese omelette.
I’ve been very quiet on here lately, living extremely present with my bubba and serving my of course 💖
Off to meet the nanny..
