Fyfe the hermit crab has become a much-loved member of our Kindy family! 🦀 The children enjoy watching, caring for and learning all about hermit crabs through hands-on experiences and conversations. We are so excited to see Fyfe thriving and growing alongside us. 💛

This week the children enjoyed reading The Rainbow Fish and learning about sharing and being kind friends. 🌈🐟

We then used our fine motor skills to decorate our own rainbow fish with shiny scales! ✨

Today the children practiced recognising letters and sounds, then traced them with cotton buds to strengthen fine motor control and early writing skills. Such a simple, engaging way to build confidence with pre-drawing, hand-eye coordination, and early literacy! 💛

Jasmine flower creations in full bloom! 🌼
Today the children explored painting, blowing edible dye, and stamping with toilet rolls to create their own beautiful jasmine flowers. Such a fun mix of colour, creativity, fine motor skills, and sensory learning — and the results were gorgeous! ✨🎨
