June 16 was World Sea Turtle Day🪸🐢
The children took their time exploring the tray filled with sea turtles and a variety of ocean animals. They discovered unique creatures such as a stonefish, sea cucumber and lemon shark, while also identifying familiar animals including crabs, lobsters, stingrays, starfish and turtles. It was a lovely way for the children to learn about marine life while building their language & knowledge of the natural world through hands on exploration and discussion.

In our piazza area, we have a separated trolley that holds everything the children need for mealtimes. Each child has a colour‑coded picture that represents their allergies or food preferences, and we encourage them to recognise their own coloured plate when they come to eat.

Supporting the children to set up their own mealtime helps them build a strong sense of accomplishment, confidence, and self‑worth. It also encourages independence and responsibility as part of their daily routine.

Light boxes stimulate children's cognitive development by allowing them to explore patterns, colors, and shapes through visual images. This can improve concentration, visual and motor skills, and problem-solving abilities.

The wonder of mythical creatures! 🪸🐦‍🔥
The kinder children have been absolutely intrigued with all kinds of mythical creatures including mermaids, unicorns and fairies!

Miss Miki set up a few outdoor play stations this morning, and one of them was a kitchen‑play area with pots filled with coloured water, along with scoops and spoons for mixing and pouring.
It was a lovely moment of sharing and gentle cooperation, showing how naturally the children invite each other into their play. ✨
