The children in the nursery have been feeding the babies as part of role-play to nurture their development 👶🏼🍼

The children have been busy this week planting seeds and decorating plant pots to deliver to their friends at Baptist Care, for them to grow in their community garden 🪴

The children participated in a culinary class this morning with our Chef, Coral. They helped to create fruit kebabs with some chopped fruit, which they will be enjoying for afternoon tea 😋 🍉🍎🍌

Our Junior Kindy children explored clay creations with natural materials 🍃🌼

Community connections are important to us, and we are always looking for ways to connect and give back to our community. Today we visited Balcatta tip to search for some pre-loved treasures in their recycling shop, as part of our sustainability plan ♻️

Our UN Convention on the Rights of the Child display highlights the importance of children’s rights and voices within our learning environment.

As part of the display, the children contributed their own drawings and ideas to represent what their rights mean to them. Through their artwork, they explored concepts such as feeling safe, being heard, having access to education, playing, belonging, and being cared for.

This experience encouraged meaningful conversations about respect, inclusion, identity, and the importance of ensuring every child feels valued and supported. We are proud to showcase the children’s creativity and understanding through this collaborative display 💚

The babies hands enjoyed touching the sensory tray set up as a beach theme to support their interests and curiosity of ocean animals 🌊 🐳🦈

From 27 May to 3 June, we come together to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation every day.

Reconciliation starts with all of us, including our youngest learners. Through moments of curiosity, storytelling, music, art and connection, children begin to build understanding, respect and a sense of belonging.

Because every small conversation, shared experience and learning moment helps us to build towards a more inclusive future, together.
