Exploring the Core Principles of Pilates —
Centering: All movement originates from the core, or “powerhouse,” which includes the abdominals, lower back, hips, and glutes.
At PFI, our instructors help you develop a deeper understanding of your centre and how it supports movement throughout your entire body. Building awareness of your powerhouse can help create more stability, efficiency, and support in the way you move.

Matwork Pilates: The heart of the Pilates method.
Matwork uses body weight and small props to create challenge that is scalable for every body. A dynamic, full body workout, Matwork invites creativity and affords freedom in movement and flow.
Start with our Matwork Fundamentals classes, included in our Two Week Intro Pass. Explore unlimited access to all class styles for two weeks for just $75. If you’re ready to progress, our standard Matwork classes provide more of a challenge, helping you refine your skills and explore the depth of the Pilates repertoire.
Private 1:1 Studio appointments offer a fully personalised Pilates experience, designed entirely around you.
Each session is guided by a highly trained instructor who takes the time to understand your body, movement history and goals and applies this knowledge with care and precision.
