Our Classroom Five learners have been busy cooking up a storm with our cook, Leanne. They made scones with jam and cream for our local fire station. This act of kindness helps to strengthen our community connections.

Our Kindy children have been exploring their interest in football through a range of fun and engaging experiences both inside and outside the classroom! The children have been playing different games with footballs, creating football-inspired artwork and enjoying arts and crafts experiences linked to their learning.
As part of their learning, the children also designed and made their own football flags for the footy tipping they regularly participate in together. These experiences support teamwork, creativity, communication and social development while encouraging the children to express their ideas and interests through play.
Through sports-based learning, the children are also building gross motor skills, coordination, confidence and a strong sense of belonging within their classroom community. We love seeing their excitement and teamwork shine each day!

Classroom 3 have been engaging in meaningful learning experiences for Reconciliation Week through a collaborative outdoor art project. The children worked together to create a beautiful artwork using Aboriginal colours while painting outside in the fresh air.
This experience encouraged creativity, teamwork, communication and a sense of belonging as the children shared ideas and worked together towards a common goal. Through art and discussion, the children were introduced to the importance of culture, connection and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Outdoor creative experiences also support childrenβs fine motor development, self-expression, confidence and connection with the natural environment. We are so proud of the children for their thoughtful and collaborative work.

Our Nursery 1 children have been busy exploring colours through a variety of sensory trays and hands-on experiences! From scooping and mixing to touching and discovering, the children are learning through play in exciting and meaningful ways.
These experiences support early learning by encouraging sensory exploration, language development, fine motor skills and cognitive growth as children begin to recognise, identify and name different colours.
Through open ended play, the children are also building confidence, curiosity, creativity and important social skills as they learn alongside their peers. We love watching their little minds explore, discover, and learn every day! ππ©΅πβ€οΈ
