Healthy minds and Bodies
Our children are building independence and confidence through everyday routine. As part of our curriculum learning branch Healthy Minds and Bodies and our focus on becoming Confident Learners, children are encouraged to take responsibility for their own wellbeing. Children practice important self help skills by washing their hands with soap before eating, collecting their bowls , cup ,spoon and serving themselves morning tea. These experiences help children develop confidence, independence, fine motor skills and healthy hygiene habits while fostering a sense of responsibility and belonging.

Exploring and Protecting Our Oceans
Tomorrow, the children will be learning about World Ocean Day, a special day that raises awareness about the importance of our oceans and the role they play in supporting life on Earth. To introduce this important event, the Classroom 5 & 6 children engaged in creating a collaborative ocean poster. They used materials such as sand and green plastic add texture and bring their artwork to life. During the experience, the children engaged in discussions about how we can help keep ocean animals safe by not throwing plastic or rubbish into the sea. They shared ideas about caring for the environment and protecting marine habitats, the children discussed different animals that live in the ocean, including fish, dolphins, sharks, and whales.🐋 World Ocean Day kindergarten curriculum infanta and toddler curriculum

National Sorry Day National Reconciliation Week
In recognition of National Sorry Day and Reconciliation Week, children engaged in meaningful learning experiences that encouraged respect, belonging, and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures. Through creating a humpy (traditional shelter) using natural materials, children explored the importance of home, community, and connection to Country. Children participated in conversations about what reconciliation means, sharing ideas about kindness, listening, fairness, and coming together. This learning experience supported children in developing empathy, cultural awareness, and respect for Australia’s shared histories and cultures. Matters

This Mother’s Day, we celebrated all the amazing mums, grandmothers, and special mother figures in our lives. 💐
Our children had so much fun creating a special homemade body scrub for their mums, carefully mixing rosemary, sea salt, magnesium, and coconut oil with lots of love and excitement. It was such a meaningful experience as they prepared something thoughtful and heartfelt to take home.
We also welcomed our families to a grab-and-go afternoon tea, creating a lovely opportunity to connect, celebrate, and show our appreciation for the incredible women who do so much every day.
Happy Mother’s Day to all our beautiful mums and families thank you for your love, care, and all that you do. ❤️
