📣 End of Term Canteen Update 🌭
On the last day of term, the canteen will be serving hot dogs only for lunch. No other lunch items will be available on this day.
Due to limited supply, we strongly recommend pre-ordering—either through Flexischools or directly at the canteen—to avoid missing out.
Thank you for your understanding and support!

On Wednesday the 10th of June, the Year 12 Certificate III students went for an excursion to Crank Recording Studio in North Bridge.
They worked with the studio owner and lead engineer, Lee Buddle and recorded the song “Slow Me Down”, a worship song by Charles Weems. The students were engaged in the recording process as Lee took the students through the process of recording takes, reflecting on their performance and re-recording. We worked together to get the perfect take. The students were very proud of what they achieved and Lee said he was very impressed by the quality of our music students. A wonderful day and a blessing to be able to be in such a wonderful space singing praises and lifting the name of Jesus.

The Budget Match Ball Delivery competition offers lucky fans the unique opportunity to deliver the match ball at a West Coast Eagles home game at Optus Stadium.
Our very own amazing canteen volunteer and “Cheesie Queen”, Granny Bronnie, was selected at a recent West Coast Eagles match, and her excitement was contagious! As a lifelong and passionate Eagles supporter, the experience was truly a dream come true.
The excitement doesn’t stop there! Keep your eyes on the big screen during this Saturday’s clash against Port Adelaide, as Bronnie has also been chosen as the West Coast Eagles Member of the Round!
We are thrilled to share in Bronnie’s excitement and celebrate these memorable moments with her. Congratulations, Bronnie, on an experience you will never forget!

Our Year 6 Prefects and Sports Captains recently had the opportunity to attend the Next Gen Leadership Seminar at Mandurah Baptist College alongside Mr Mathews. The event brought together student leaders from six other schools, providing a wonderful opportunity to connect, collaborate, and learn from one another.
The seminar was a fantastic day of learning, encouragement, and leadership development, organised and presented by the secondary students at Mandurah Baptist College. Students heard from a range of inspiring guest speakers, including representatives from the Next Gen Team, the Deputy Mayor of the City of Mandurah, and a speaker from World Vision.
Throughout the day, students explored practical strategies for developing their leadership skills and using their influence positively within their schools and communities. They were encouraged to lead through service, build meaningful relationships, and recognise the difference they can make in the lives of others.
The seminar provided valuable insights and practical tools that will support our student leaders as they continue to serve our school community. We look forward to seeing them put these ideas into action throughout the remainder of the year.

Thailand Service Team 2026 – Prayer Support Needed
This June/July, a team of 21 staff and students will be travelling to Thailand to serve local communities and share the Gospel. As we prepare to depart on 24th June 2026, we would greatly value the prayers of our Dale Christian College Community.
Please pray for:
• Safe travel, good health, and strong team unity
• Boldness and compassion as we serve through school programs, outreach activities, and ministry alongside local churches in Loei and Lampang in Thailand
• That God would move powerfully among the Thai people we meet
• That God will work in their hearts of our team
Thank you for partnering with us in prayer as we step out in faith.
“The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” – James 5:16

Proud Moments at the JACC Inter-School Cross Country Carnival 👏🥳
On Wednesday, 27 May 2026, Dale Primary School made an exciting debut at the Junior ACC Cross Country Carnival at Alderbury Reserve. Competing against 23 schools in a highly competitive field, each race featured up to 138 runners.
Our athletes were thrilled by the fantastic course, which was supported by 26 marshals and featured a spectacular finish-line arch. A major highlight for the students was wearing professional race bibs equipped with timing chips to track their exact finish times.
We are incredibly proud of all our runners for their outstanding behaviour and stellar effort. Special congratulations go to our top-10 finishers:
• Summerlily (Y4) – 7th place
• Celestine (Y6) – 9th place
• Ehmupoh (Y6) – 10th place
A huge thank you to Mr Hall and Mr Bowman for volunteering as marshals, to the dedicated Dale staff, and to our secondary school helpers—Olivia, Maia, Caitlyn, and Daniel—who generously gave up their study time to support our team.
Well done to everyone involved!
