This week our pre primary students had an exciting and engaging experience when the AWCHWA Hospital incursion visited Campbell Primary School👩‍⚕👨‍⚕🏥

This hands-on learning experience helps young children feel comfortable and confident about visits to the hospital, doctor, or dentist. Students had the opportunity to dress up as doctors and nurses and explore a range of real medical equipment, including stethoscopes, blood pressure cuffs, thermometers, wheelchairs, and crutches🩺.

They also enjoyed a virtual tour of Perth Children’s Hospital and had the chance to explore the inside of an ambulance. It was a fun and interactive experience that helped build their understanding of healthcare in a positive and reassuring way🚑🏥

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️Interhouse Cross Country - Friday 12 June🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Congratulations to all of our students for competing in our Interhouse Cross Country event on Friday. All students worked incredibly hard over the past few months to improve their own personal best times, which was highlighted in the performances across the school. The sportsmanship demonstrated, high fives and support for one another was equally as impressive.

Well done to all of our top runners, we look forward to watching you compete at Interschool next term. A big thank you to the wonderful faction captains for arriving early at school and braving the weather to setup, and for assisting with the overall coordination of the event, your leadership is outstanding🙌.

🌈 Today Campbell Primary School celebrated Crazy Colour Day with some serious splashes of colour across our school ✨🤪. What an amazing show of colourful and creative outfits to brighten our day 🙌🌈.

Thanks to all who participated, and gold-coin donated towards this fundraiser. Our first event in our Telethon fundraising effort raised a fantastic $679.05. Our fundraising page is open, and you can still donate using the link below:

Friday 12 June is our annual Cross Country Faction Carnival. This is a whole school event for students to showcase their long-distance athletic ability. Students will run the following distances:

🏃‍♂️PP/1: 2 Laps of oval (400m)
🏃‍♀️Year 2: 1 lap of track around school (600m)
🏃‍♂️Year 3/4: 2 laps of track around school (1100m)
🏃‍♀️Year 5/6: 3 laps of track of around school (1700m)

Students are to wear their Faction T-shirts and appropriate running shoes.

We look forward to welcoming spectators to this event. Parents/carers are advised that we may have to alter start times throughout the day, if the weather forecast changes at short notice.

Our Year 6 students are fundraising for the Premier’s 2026 Telethon Challenge.

This wonderful initiative encourages students to embrace the spirit of giving by raising funds for Telethon, supporting sick, vulnerable, and disadvantaged children across Western Australia. Together, we can shape the future through the joy of generosity and giving back. Let’s get behind kids helping kids.

Our first event is Crazy Colour Day on Friday 5 June, when we ask all students to donate a gold coin donation and come to school dressed up in their favourite colour.

Year 6 Student Councillors

A huge thank you to our wonderful P&C for purchasing new choir shirts for our students 🎶💙

Our Junior Choir (Yr 2/3) recently had the opportunity to debut the new shirts during their performance at the Nicholson Network Choral Festival, hosted by Aspiri Primary School, and they looked fantastic while representing our school with pride and enthusiasm.
We are especially impressed that they pulled their performance together after only four rehearsals together!

Our Senior Choir also had the chance to try the new shirts on during their Tuesday morning rehearsal, and they are looking forward to wearing them at the Massed Choir Festival and Evening on the Green later in the school year.

We are so grateful for the ongoing support of our P&C, whose generosity continues to provide amazing opportunities for our students.
