Trikes on the local pump track!
(T) found a branch with leaves on it, “it’s a race flag” he said swishing it around. So we used it to start and finishes our races!! 🏁

Celebrating 𝘞𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥 𝘔𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘤 𝘋𝘢𝘺 (21st June) in our back yard, we literally took our instruments into our back yard!!
The group has been highly engaged in the Stapelstein ‘Inside set’ set up inside all week, so we extended the interests with the Grow XL size filled with warm water and the next step of exploring begun. We listened to the different sounds and how it was made in the water. They enjoyed it so much we set up our 2nd Grow XL with water and our mini stepping stones!! So much exploring and fun was had with the various stones 😁
Other musical instruments were explored and the speaker was requested for music and dance!

It was time to give some muddy dinosaurs a good scrubbing!!!

“𝙵𝚛𝚘𝚐 𝚑𝚘𝚞𝚜𝚎” 🐸🏡
(CG) standing at the light board with magnetic tiles; “I’m building a frog house” he tells us.
(T) building with magnetic tiles on the play room floor, “me too” he shouts!
(LD) also sitting on play room floor with magnetic tiles, “me too” he shouts!
I supported their interest by providing a frog figurine which they proceeded to place/use in the build “house”
When (ED) was offered a frog figurine he collected a stack of magnetic tiles and placed the frog inside it - “I frog house” he told me.
All building “houses” for frogs in different ways with the same resource.

Why not try out a new A3 light pad for play! Which was then extended with old original light table. New way for this group to extend on our magnetic tile play!
• what colours can we see?
• if we stack to different coloured tiles on top of each other, can we make a new colour?
• do the tiles look different on top of light?
