π Classroom Spotlight - Room 35 π
Room 35 has been busy with some fascinating learning this term! In HASS, students have explored the journey of the First Fleet, gaining valuable insights into Australiaβs early colonial history and the events that helped shape our nation.
In Physical Science, students have been investigating forces and discovering how pushes and pulls influence the movement of objects. Through engaging, hands-on learning experiences, they have been developing their scientific understanding and making connections to forces they encounter in everyday life.
It's great to see AGPS students approaching their learning with enthusiasm and curiosity. Thank you to Miss Brown for fostering such an engaging classroom environment where students are encouraged to learn, explore, and grow. π

πΏWorld Enviroment Day FestivalπΏ
On Friday, our Year 5 students attended the 2026 World Environment Day Festival: Earth and Ocean at the The Wetlands Centre Cockburn. πΏ
Students enjoyed a day of hands-on learning, exploring environmental sustainability, conservation, and the importance of protecting our environment. One of the highlights was the Tails and Scales activity, where students had the opportunity to interact with reptiles and snakes!
We were also incredibly proud to receive a wonderful compliment from a visitor to the festival, who described our students as the most polite and kind children she had seen all day. Well done Year 5, you represented AGPS beautifully! ππΏπ’
