Thank you Ms Tames for organising a fantastic Winter Interschool Carnival today.

Our students had a wonderful day participating in AFL, netball, hockey and soccer.

Thank you to Mrs Sedgwick, Mr de Souza, Mrs Williams, Mr Atkinson and Ms Bosco for coaching our Phoenix teams.

A very special thank you to Mr Cunai, Mrs Blaine and Mr Maskos for giving up their valuable time to coach and support our students throughout the day.

Our dedicated and hard-working Education Assistants & prac students are busy preparing resources for the students to enjoy whilst teachers are conducting their parent meetings today. 😀

This morning the year 6's took part in ‘Adopt a Beach’. They had lots of fun learning about plant species that grow on the beach and planting 300 seedlings along the coast to help preserve the sand dunes.

After some morning tea and serious sandcastle making it was time for beach combing. Armed with tongs and buckets they set along the beach collecting what they thought looked interesting and any rubbish along the way.

After a chat with our beach guide and finding out all about starfish and other beach inhabitants we made sure that we left the beach as beautiful as we found it.

Students DO NOT attend school on Wednesday (17 June) due to the Reporting to parents day.

Today is School Officer Day!!! 💐

Gia (Mrs Burd) and Kelli (Mrs O'Brien) are our fabulous School Officers at Phoenix PS. They are an invaluable part of our school community. Their professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail ensure the smooth running of daily operations. They consistently go above and beyond to support staff, students, and families, and their positive, can-do attitude makes a significant difference across the school. THANK YOU so much Gia and Kelli for everything you do for us. ❤️

The Sports X company run fun sports programs for Pre Primary to Year 6 students and they are coming to Phoenix PS!

The Sports X team are all about the kids having the most fun possible and seeing them smiling throughout every session. They will be running an 8 week program on the senior oval AFTER school during Term 3.
