✅ Free parking for students in Green Zones only
✅ No permit fees required during the exam period

We are committed to providing an accessible campus and welcome feedback from people with lived experience of disability.

The stair-mounted lift chairs that were previously installed across campus were removed because they were unreliable, difficult to maintain and could not provide the consistent, safe access that students, staff and visitors require.

There are alternative ways to navigate the campus with confidence, including an accessible route from Discovery Way into Bush Court via Boola Katitjin (Building 360), which we recommend students, staff and visitors to campus utilise.

However, we are also aware that more accessibility improvements are needed, given the campus has steep and sloping sections that can be difficult to traverse, and these are being planned as part of the University’s Campus Development Plan.

Murdoch is committed to ensuring our campus is accessible for all, and we apologise for the inconvenience experienced by this particular visitor to campus. Our Equity, Diversity and Inclusion team has also reached out to her to discuss her concerns.
