Year 9 Soccer Team Shines with Sportsmanship at Intermediate Secondary Interschool Tournament
The Year 9 Soccer Team represented Saltwater College with pride at the Intermediate Secondary Interschool Soccer Tournament, competing with determination, skill, and outstanding sportsmanship throughout the day. Facing some strong opposition, the team played valiantly in every match and demonstrated resilience, teamwork, and respect both on and off the field.
After a tough tournament campaign, the boys narrowly missed out on the Finals, going down in the final match against a talented Year 10 team. While the result did not fall their way, their effort, commitment, and positive attitude were exemplary.
The entire Saltwater College community should be extremely proud of the way the team conducted themselves, consistently displaying the ethical standards and core values that define our college. Their sportsmanship, respect for opponents, and support for one another were a credit to both themselves and Saltwater College.
