On Tuesday, our 2168 Childrenβs Parliament representatives attended a Parliament sitting, where they addressed the room on the important topic of online safety and cyberbullying.
Throughout the year, our students have been working alongside students from other local schools to explore this issue and develop ideas for creating safer online spaces for young people.
At the sitting, they confidently shared their thoughts and recommendations, demonstrating growing leadership, public speaking, collaboration and advocacy skills.
We are proud of the way they each have represented our school, using their voices to make a positive difference.

π Every Day Counts! π
Regular school attendance is essential for student success. Being at school every day helps children build strong learning habits, develop friendships, participate in classroom experiences and stay connected to their learning journey.

That means every child in 1S was at school, every day - learning, participating and having fun together π§ π£οΈπ€©π

ππ Another great week of learning in 5/6V as they continue to explore new concepts and ideas! οΈβοΈπ‘
During Morning Routine last week, they have been focusing on comprehending short excerpts and finding information in the text to answer inferential questions. π§π
In Mathematics, they have been learning about different types of angles π and in English, they have been using the text 'Young Dark Emu' to learn more about Australia's history.
