1/2 Grow made models of the Parthenon today! We learnt about ancient Greek temples and their construction in HSIE and are learning to make 3D objects in Art.
At Revesby Public School we are committed to achieving high quality outcomes for all students. This is the official page of Revesby Public School.
Revesby Public School is the oldest school in the local area. The school was established in 1896 and was originally situated on a different site. The original building on the current site is a heritage building that houses the school museum. Students are offered a broad range of academic, sporting, cultural and music programs.

Our Stage 2 students in 3/4 Empathy have been busy putting their Science and Technology learning into action!
Using the design process, students worked collaboratively to identify real problems around our school and develop innovative solutions. From creating safer play spaces and improving shade coverage to designing ways to prevent sports equipment from leaving play areas, students explored how thoughtful design can make a positive difference to our school community.
After researching, planning, sketching and testing ideas, students created posters and 3D prototypes to showcase their solutions. We are incredibly proud of their creativity, teamwork, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Also, who knows... One of these ideas might inspire a future improvement at Revesby Public School!
Well done, 3/4 Empathy!

Today, the debating team from Revesby Public School faced Narwee Public School in an engaging and thought-provoking debate. The topic was "That Testing and Exams Cause More Harm Than Good." Revesby Public School represented the affirmative team, arguing that the negative impacts of testing and exams outweigh their benefits.
Our debaters demonstrated excellent preparation, confidence, and teamwork as they presented their arguments and responded to the opposing team's points. A particular highlight was their ability to deliver strong and well-considered rebuttals, showing critical thinking and quick responses under pressure.
The debate was recorded and has been submitted to the adjudicator for assessment, and we are eagerly awaiting the final result.
Congratulations to all of our debaters for their hard work, dedication, and commitment throughout the preparation process and during the debate itself. Our team won the debate today. A special well done to the team members who worked tirelessly to develop and deliver effective rebuttals. Regardless of the outcome, they represented Benares with pride and professionalism.
We look forward to hearing the adjudicator's decision and celebrating the team's efforts and achievements. Congratulations Miss Lee on your preparation with students.

NRMA Science and Road Safety Program
We are excited to share that all students from K-6 participated in the NRMA Science and Road Safety Program, an engaging and interactive incursion delivered by professional science educators. The program teaches children the essential WHAT, WHY, and HOW of road safety—covering everything from correctly fitting seatbelts and helmets to safely crossing roads and understanding the importance of avoiding distractions for drivers. Each child had lots of fun while learning crucial safety skills and received a workbook and a bag tag to reinforce their knowledge at home.
