As Term 2 draws to a close, our Principal, Jane Danvers, reflects on the distinct privilege of a girls’ school: the opportunity to shape not only what our students learn, but who they become.
Throughout this term, we have seen countless examples of girls stepping forward, stretching themselves and discovering what they are capable of. It is a reminder of the powerful space that exists between belonging and becoming at Kambala.

"The discipline of English better prepares students for life beyond school than the study of History."
That was the motion at the heart of last week's lunchtime teacher debate, as our Debating Prefect, Maddi W, challenged our English and History teachers to take to the stage. While the arguments were fierce and the rivalry friendly, it certainly showed students that debating can be fun and highly entertaining.
Maddy shared: "I believe the teacher debate really highlighted why teachers have such a lasting impact on students. It's because of their personality, humour, and dedication. These qualities are often why they are our role models."
Thank you to our teachers for stepping up to the challenge!

The spirit of Kambala had been stolen by the mischievous fairy Hildigrim, and nothing at school felt quite right anymore…
Our Year 6 students set out to reclaim what had been lost, taking the audience on a magical quest filled with adventure.
Congratulations to our Year 6 superstars, who took to the stage and delivered a fantastic performance last night. 🎭💛🖤

Our recent Senior School Reconciliation Week assembly was a powerful reminder of what it means to be All In for Reconciliation. Students were fortunate to hear from Clare McHugh, Chief Executive Officer of the NSW Aboriginal Land Council. Drawing on her extensive leadership experience and steadfast commitment to advancing Aboriginal rights, Ms McHugh joined students Hania and Menorah on stage for an engaging Q&A session, giving our girls an important opportunity for reflection.
