We had a spud-tastic time at Tender Tales this morning! Together we sang, prayed, enjoyed the story The Potato People, and then made our very own potato people to take home. Thank you to all the little ones and their grown-ups who joined us this morning ๐ฅ๐๐

As part of our Science unit on Pushes and Pulls, Year 1 and Year 2 students consolidated their understanding of Forces at their Excursion today at Sydney Park, Alexandria. Students had lots of fun engaging in a variety of Science experiments and participating in activities, which included making air pressure rockets, billy cart races, tug-of-war challenges and slime-making investigations.
It was wonderful to see students working collaboratively, thinking scientifically and having lots of fun!

What a wonderful day! Today our amazing community supported the St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal and Snack Pack Drive. Students wore their pyjamas for a gold coin donationโand some even went bananas! ๐ Thanks to our generous families, our Little Mini Vinnies and staff, we raised funds and packed more than 450 snack packs for those in need. Your support will make a real difference to those in need. Thank you ๐๐

Over the past few weeks, Year 3 have been developing their research and writing skills by creating informative posters about an animal of their choice. Students researched facts, organised information into cohesive paragraphs, incorporated multimodal features, and used our Bump It Up Wall to self-assess and improve their work. They are now proudly adding the final touches to their informative posters, showcasing their learning, creativity and growing confidence as informative writers.
