A training provider has been found to have misled consumers about its online White Card courses, with claims of "Pay Only When you Pass" and "Same Day Interim Certificate".
It highlights the importance to look beyond price and speed when choosing accredited training, and to check how practical skills and competency are actually assessed.

⚠️ Product Recall Update
The Cygnett MagSlim 5K Power Bank was originally recalled in April, but the recall has since been updated to include additional batch numbers.
The affected sale period has also been extended, now covering products sold between 16 December 2025 and 20 April 2026.

"We've always done it this way."
According to WorkSafe Victoria, that's one of the most common responses inspectors encountered during their recent manufacturing safety blitz in Dandenong, with findings released in May.
After 341 workplace visits, inspectors issued 272 improvement notices covering machinery, guarding, manual handling, and dangerous goods.
As WorkSafe pointed out, industry practice doesn't always align with best practice - or even compliance.
