Our Stage 3 students represented OLOL with pride at the Soccer Gala Day, demonstrating excellent teamwork, sportsmanship and determination throughout the competition. Well done to all students involved on a great day of soccer!

Vinnies Collection 💙📦🤝
Today, Vinnies collected our donations, all made possible by the kindness of our families, staff and local community. Your contributions will help provide much needed support to people doing it tough and make a real difference in the lives of others. Thank you!

This morning, our Year 4 students gathered with parents and family members to celebrate a beautiful class liturgy, reflecting on the scripture and learning explored throughout this term’s learning cycle.
Through prayer, song and reflection, students shared their growing understanding of God’s Word and the ways it invites us to live with faith, compassion and hope in our everyday lives.
It was a special opportunity to come together as a Year 4 community and recognise prayer as central to our Catholic tradition — a time to pause, reflect and strengthen our connection with God and one another.
A special thank you to our Year 4 students for their beautiful preparation, reverence and thoughtful participation in leading the liturgy. Your care and reflection created a meaningful experience for all who attended. Thank you also to our Year 4 teachers for their support and guidance in helping students prepare and bring this celebration to life.

2026 Athletics Carnival
The rain held off (mostly), a great day had by all. Lots of excellent sportsmanship shown throughout the day. 😀🏃🏃‍♀️

🧥💙 Sweater for the Better M***i Day 💙🧥

Thank you to our wonderful OLOL community for your generosity and support of our Sweater for the Better M***i Day as part of the Vinnies Winter Appeal.

Students proudly wore their favourite sweaters and donated food items, which have been used to create snack packs for people experiencing homelessness in our local community.

Throughout the day, students also participated in a prayer reflection where they created thoughtful cards and messages of hope to be included in the snack packs. This was a beautiful opportunity to reflect on the importance of kindness, compassion and caring for others.

We are incredibly grateful for the generosity shown by our students and families. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of those who need it most. 💙

❄️ OLOL Vinnies Winter Sleepout ❄️

On Monday 1st June, our Year 5 and Year 6 students participated in the OLOL Vinnies Winter Sleepout, a meaningful experience that raised awareness of homelessness and the importance of supporting those in need.

Students heard from a special guest speaker from Vinnies, packed snack packs for members of the community, and took part in a brief "sleep rough" experience to deepen their understanding of the challenges faced by others.

We are incredibly proud of the empathy, compassion and commitment to service shown by our students throughout the evening.

Congratulations to our Mark Taylor Shield cricket team on their fantastic win in Round 2! The team displayed excellent skill, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the match, resulting in an outstanding performance and well deserved victory.

Congratulations to our students who proudly represented our school at the Parramatta Diocesan Cross Country Carnival. Students demonstrated outstanding effort, determination and sportsmanship as they competed against strong competition from across the diocese.Congratulations to Tyler.H who placed 7th out of 119 competitors, Levi.k who placed 8th out of 119 competitors and Divleen k who placed 8th out of 129 competitors.These students will now progress to compete at the MacKillop (NSWCPS) Cross Country Championships. Well done!
