The game may have been called Prefect Feud, but there was no bad blood when Wesley's prefects took on the prefects from Penrhos College earlier this week!

There was plenty of fun across our Junior School last week as students celebrated the International Day of Play during Vertical House Group time.

The day celebrates the power of play and serves as an important reminder that every child has the right to play, explore and thrive.

Over the past few days, Noongar artist Kamsani Bin Salleh has been working with our students to create artwork that will feature in our new Centenary Building. Kam shared his journey as an artist and spoke about some of his favourite works, many of which students recognised from around Perth.

A special highlight was seeing students of different ages working together, with a couple of Senior School students helping out during the Year 3 workshops. Our Year 3 students enjoyed asking Kam plenty of questions — and collecting his autograph!

In case you missed it, Kam is the artist working on the incredible mural on our Centenary Building. If you haven't seen it yet, walk down Swan Street to check it out!

Business was booming at the Year 9 stalls today! From handmade coasters, chess sets and keyrings to mini cars, skateboards, mosaics, ice cream and more, students showcased their creativity while raising funds for charity. The hardest part was deciding what to buy!
