🚌✨ Excursion Reminder for Year 2 Families! ✨🚌

Tomorrow our Year 2 students are heading off on an exciting adventure to 🏛️ Werribee Mansion!
⏰ The bus will leave at 9:00am sharp, so please make sure your child arrives at school on time. Normal pick-up time at 3:20pm

🎒 Students will need:
🍎 A snack
🥪 Lunch
💧 A water bottle
🏷️ A small bag with their name clearly labelled
👕 Please wear full school uniform and 🧥 bring a jacket if needed for the weather.

We can't wait for a fantastic day of learning and exploring! 🌳✨

SAPS Community Hub:

Next Week is Refugee Week. Our Community Hub will come together to share stories of Refugee journeys which some of our Community members have made to seek freedom, to start a new life, and call Australia their home.
Here is how we will celebrate Refugee Week (see flyers attached):

Thursday 18th June:
Parents/Carers Excursion to the Nile School to view their 'Refugee Week Exhibition'
-Meet at St Albans Station at 10am, visit Victoria Market for lunch, view exhibition
-Return to school by 3pm

Friday 19th June:
Refugee Week Lunch Gathering 1-3pm in the Community Room
-Light lunch provided, Parents/Carers are also invited to bring a dish from your home country to share

🏫 St Albans Primary School will be closed for the day.

We hope everyone enjoys the long weekend, has a chance to relax, spend time with family and friends, and stay safe.

📚 We look forward to welcoming all students back to school on Tuesday morning.

We have lots of lost property waiting to be reunited with their owners! 🤔

If you think any of these uniform or non-uniform items might belong to your child, please come to the school office and collect them as soon as possible. 😊

📢 Unclaimed items will be displayed at Friday's school assembly, where parents are welcome to take any items free of charge.

🔎 Take a moment to check if your child's missing jumper, jacket, lunch bag, drink bottle, or other belongings are waiting to come home!

The SAPS Community Hub is excited to announce a special visit to Victorian Parliament House on Wednesday 17th June! 🏛️🚆

📍 Program for the Day:

🕘 9:20am – Meet at St Albans Station to catch the train to Parliament House

🏛️ 10:30am – Arrive at Parliament House and complete Security Check

☕ 10:45am – Morning Tea with Ministers Stitt and Suleyman

👀 12:00pm – Watch Question Time from the Public Gallery

🏠 1:00pm – Return Home

This is a fantastic opportunity to experience Parliament in action and meet local Ministers.

This recognition is a testament to our wonderful staff, whose dedication to quality physical education, school sport, and active play makes our school a place that supports students to lead healthy active lives.
