Clever Cubs ELC

Today we had a wonderful visit to our local primary school! 🏫✨

The children did an amazing job walking safely to the school and enjoyed having lunch together before heading into the classroom. They had the opportunity to meet the teacher, listen to a lovely story, and learn about the classroom rules and routines.

It was a fantastic experience that helped the children become familiar with the school environment and excited about their future learning journey. Thank you to the school staff for making us feel so welcome! 💙📚

🌋🍋🍊 Mini Volcano Magic! 🍊🍋🌋

Our preschoolers had a fantastic time exploring science with lemon and orange volcanoes today!

The children discovered how the citric acid in the lemon and orange juice reacts with baking soda to produce carbon dioxide gas, creating a fizzy, foamy eruption. Watching the bubbles and foam burst from their fruit volcanoes was both exciting and educational! ✨

This hands-on activity encouraged curiosity, observation, and scientific thinking while helping the children learn about simple chemical reactions in a fun and engaging way.

Today at clever cubs the team set up for Australia’s biggest morning tea in support of 🫖🧁

every slice shared helps fund life changing cancer research, patient support and prevention programs across Australia. We are so proud to play even a small part in raising funds that make a real difference.

Healthy Harold 🦒💛 we explored body boundaries and how to stay safe and confident.

The children learned that their body belongs to them and that it’s important to respect their own feelings and the feelings of others. We talked about personal space, understanding when someone is too close, and recognizing early warning signs that help us know when something doesn’t feel right.

We also discussed who trusted adults are and how to identify them, reminding the children that there are always safe people they can go to for help. Practicing using strong, confident voices to say “no” was a big highlight of the day!

These important conversations help build confidence, awareness, and respect in a safe and supportive environment. 💙

A very special visitor hopped into Clever Cubs this Easter… the Easter Bunny! 🐰💛 Our little cubs were so excited to meet the bunny and receive their yummy Easter eggs.
