Congratulations to our recent Upstanders, who were recognised with a special morning tea in the Principal’s Courtyard this morning.
These students were acknowledged for their positive contributions to the College community and for living out the EREA Touchstones in their everyday actions.
Examples of this include handing in money found in the yard, serving as push-up challenge ambassadors, mentoring fellow students, and assisting an injured student around the College.
We are proud of the leadership, integrity and care these young men demonstrate within our community.
Well done, gentlemen.

It was a huge day of rugby at our Oxford Falls Campus on the weekend as we celebrated our Supporters’ Day round.
The atmosphere was electric, with the incredible SPX Drumline providing the entertainment, the Old Boys’ BBQ and cake stall keeping everyone well fed, and a fantastic crowd cheering on the 1st XV to a memorable 27–14 victory over St Gregory’s College.
A huge thank you to all the families, Old Boys and supporters who came out to back SPX Rugby. Your support and school spirit made it a day to remember.

Congratulations to St Pius X College Old Boy, Professor Simon Darcy AM on being appointed a Member of the Order of Australia in the General Division for his significant service to tertiary education and to inclusion and accessible environments.
A proud member of the St Pius X College community, Simon has enjoyed an outstanding career in academia and community advocacy. He generously sponsors the Professor Simon Darcy Year 12 Award for Contribution to Sport and regularly returns to the College to present the award in person and support our students on the sidelines.
A talented sportsman during his time at SPX, Simon’s life changed following a surfing accident that left him a wheelchair user. He has since devoted himself to scholarship, research and championing accessibility and inclusion, making an extraordinary impact both nationally and internationally.
Simon has also inspired countless students through his presentations to year groups over the years. His wisdom, generosity and commitment to others make him a truly deserving recipient of this honour.
Congratulations, Professor Simon Darcy AM. We are proud to celebrate your remarkable achievements and your enduring connection to the College.
