✨ A selection of dioramas, created by our early childhood education students in their formation units, offered a glimpse into how learning can translate into meaningful, creative expressions.
🌍 What made this exhibition truly special was the diversity behind it. Nearly 600 student participants represented a wide range of nations, cultures, and worldviews. The majority of participating students come from non-Christian faith traditions, and for many, this was their first academic engagement with biblical texts.
✝️ Students explored questions such as ‘Who is Jesus?’ and engaged deeply with texts like the Gospel of Luke and the Book of Roman.
💡 These works were a powerful way to connect biblical narratives with their lived experiences, and it brought to life how Excelsia's Graduate Attribute of Christian Ethical Action could be realised in practice.

🙏 Honoured to be a major sponsor of this year’s Sydney Prayer Breakfast, centred on the theme, 'Hope in the Heart of the City'.
🤝 Together with 1,800 leaders from across diverse sectors, community members and school students, we gathered for a powerful morning of prayer and reflection.
💙 United by the common goal of lifting up our city, we joined in worship, the breaking of bread and offered prayers for education, media and the arts, health and community services, churches, government, and the marginalised. We were especially moved by the reminder from keynote speaker Tim Kirk to ‘drink the wine of the spirit, go deeper in faith and be hungry for more prayer’.
🙌 At Excelsia, we are proud to contribute to the formation of graduates who lead with compassion and purpose, and strive to bring Christ-centred leadership into every aspect of society.

🙌 Excelsia was delighted to recently host the HEPP‑QN National Conference on May 28th and 29th 2026 on the theme of 'Learning Futures'. Excelsia's Provost and HEPP-QN founder and convenor, Professor Jane Fernandez invited participants to envisage 'learning' in its broadest sense - to serve a world we cannot fully predict.
💡 This theme provided the catalyst for a range of thought-provoking sessions and insights from Professor Kerri-Lee Krause [Chief Commissioner, TEQSA], Sarah Bendall [First Assistant Ombudsman, National Student Ombudsman] and a range of sector leaders, expert and student voices.
✨ The conference opened up opportunities for further enquiry, collaboration and innovative practice. HEPP-QN Learning Futures Conference 2026 provided an inspiring and dynamic few days on our Pennant Hills campus, brought to life by a gathering of a diverse and forward‑thinking community of educators and policymakers, collectively exploring how to shape the future of higher education.
🤝 We look forward to continuing to support initiatives that foster dialogue and progress across the sector.
