At First Grammar Childcare, we are working with leading child protection organisation Act for Kids to implement a Protective Behaviours Education program.
Keeping children safe, emotionally and physically, is at the heart of everything we do.
The age-appropriate Learn to be Safe with Emmy & Friends program is designed to support children’s understanding of personal safety in a calm, positive and reassuring way.
This program has been carefully designed to be gentle, empowering and play-based, supporting children to build simple language, confidence and awareness around safety.
You can learn more about the program by speaking with your Centre Manager and visiting the Emmy and Friends dedicated website with information and free resources www.emmyandfriends.com.au

✨ The magic of discovering something for the first time..
There’s something truly special about seeing the world through a child’s eyes, every sound, texture, question, and discovery is brand new and full of wonder.
At First Grammar Childcare, our educators intentionally create environments that invite children to explore, experiment, and follow their curiosity. Through open-ended materials and thoughtfully prepared environments, children are encouraged to ask questions, try new ideas, and experience the excitement of discovering something for the very first time.
It’s in these moments of wonder that confidence grows, creativity flourishes, and a lifelong love of learning begins. ✨

Creativity in action!
In our First Grammar early learning environments, creativity isn’t just about art, it’s about thinking differently, exploring new ideas, problem-solving, and expressing big feelings in meaningful ways.
Through open-ended play, imaginative experiences, and hands-on discovery, children build confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning that lasts a lifetime. ✨

Group meals give children the opportunity to observe, imitate and learn from one another, from trying new foods to practising table manners. When children eat together in a relaxed, supportive environment, food becomes a positive experience rather than a challenge, helping build lifelong healthy habits.
