This week at Poppets Childcare Centre, the children enjoyed a range of learning experiences including outdoor play, watering plants, sensory play, and indoor school readiness activities. 🌿👐Through these activities, the children continued to develop their confidence, independence, early literacy skills, and social skills while engaging in play-based learning. 🎨📚😊 The children also enjoyed building friendships and exploring new experiences in a fun and supportive environment. 💛

Our children actively participated in meaningful experiences that helped them learn about respect, inclusion, culture, and belonging. Throughout the week, they took action by engaging in conversations, creative activities, storytelling, and collaborative play that celebrated Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures.

✨ We shared wonderful moments together as we played, learned, explored, and created lasting memories. It was heartwarming to see the children showing curiosity, kindness, and respect while participating in all the experiences.

This week at Poppets, we celebrated Mother’s Day while continuing our school readiness journey. 💐💖 It was lovely to welcome our mums to the centre, where we enjoyed creating art and decorating cupcakes together. 🧁🎨 Children also engaged in activities that supported early writing, independence, and confidence. ✏️📚 It was a joyful week filled with learning, connection, and happy moments. ✨😊

This week at Poppets, we had so much fun getting ready for big school! 📝we became scientists and 🧪 we used shaving cream to make fluffy clouds and watched colourful rain fall through them! ☁️Everyone loved choosing their own activities and exploring with big smiles. ✨😊
