🌍🥚 World Environment Day 🌱🥕

Today, our little eco-warriors celebrated World Environment Day by giving everyday waste a new purpose! Instead of throwing away eggshells, the children transformed them into tiny biodegradable pots for our winter garden, carefully filling them with soil and planting carrot seedlings.

This hands-on experience sparked conversations about reducing waste, reusing natural materials, and caring for our planet. The children discovered that eggshells can naturally break down in the soil, providing nutrients to help plants grow while reducing landfill waste.

By nurturing our little seedlings, we’re also nurturing a love for sustainability and teaching that even small actions can make a big difference for the environment. We can’t wait to watch our winter crop grow! 🌱💚

🍊 From Our Neighbour’s Orange Tree to Our Morning Tea 🍊

Today, the children enjoyed a special treat when our neighbour kindly shared some fresh oranges from his orange tree.

The children explored the fruit and used hand juicers to squeeze their own fresh orange juice. There was great excitement as they watched the juice flow and proudly enjoyed their homemade drink at morning tea.

This hands-on experience encouraged healthy eating, developed fine motor skills, and helped children understand where food comes from.

Experiences like these foster practical life skills, healthy eating habits, fine motor development, and a deeper appreciation for fresh produce and community connections.

A Joyful fun Park visit full of friendship, teamwork, creativity and play 🛝 🌳 🏃‍♂️

Today the children enjoyed a wonderful visit to the park filled with lots of outdoor fun and laughter! 🌳☀️

They had so much fun swinging, sliding, rocking, running around and playing chase with each other. The children practised taking turns on the slide and showed kindness by helping and giving each other pushes on the swings.

The children found sticks and sat together making music and rhythms with them, using their imagination and creativity. 🎶🪵

It was a super fun day 💛

🌿✨ Park Adventures & Nature Creations ✨🌿

What a joyful and energetic day we had on our park visit today! ☀️ The children explored, played, and challenged themselves in so many exciting ways.

From sliding down with big smiles, swinging high in the sky, to rock climbing like little adventurers — every moment was filled with laughter and confidence-building. The balancing stepping stones tested their coordination, while the sack races brought out lots of giggles and friendly competition! 🏃‍♂️🎉

One of the highlights of our day was our Nature Hunt 🍃 The children carefully collected leaves, flowers, and natural treasures, which they then used to create a beautiful nature collage on a frame using contact paper. It was wonderful to see their creativity shine and their appreciation for the natural world grow. 🌸🍂

Days like these support not only physical development but also creativity, teamwork, and a love for the outdoors. 💚

🐣✨ A Magical Easter Celebration at Our FDC! ✨🐣

Today was filled with sparkle, laughter, and a whole lot of Easter magic! 🌸💛

Our little creators transformed into designers as they made their very own Easter crowns 👑—choosing bright colours, glitter, stickers, and decorations that truly reflected their personalities. The joy on their faces as they wore their crowns with pride was simply priceless! ✨

But the real adventure began with our Easter Hunt… 🐰🥚
Tiny feet ran across the yard, eyes wide with excitement, as children searched high and low for hidden surprises. There were giggles, teamwork, and so many “I found one!” moments that filled the air with pure happiness. 🌿💫

Through play, the children explored, discovered, shared, and celebrated together—building confidence, friendships, and beautiful memories along the way. 💕

It was more than just a celebration… it was a day of wonder, creativity, and joy! 🌈
