🐛🌱 Worm Farm Fun at Papilio Meadowbank! 🌱🐛

Our little learners have been busy exploring our worm farm, and it has been such an exciting hands-on experience!

The children have been learning all about how worms help the environment by turning our food scraps into rich, healthy compost. They’ve loved watching the worms wriggle, helping feed them, and talking about what items can go into the farm.

This is a wonderful way for children to build an understanding of sustainability, recycling, and caring for our planet from a young age 🌏💚

Keep an eye out as we continue to use our worm farm compost in our garden projects! 🌿

☀️ Safety always comes first before outdoor fun🦺

Our educators and children work together to complete our outdoor safety checks before heading outside to play and explore 💛
Today we discussed the importance of staying safe in the sun, wearing our hats, and making sure our outdoor environment was ready for safe play.

Our children are actively involved in checking the surface temperature of the equipment and ground to ensure it was safe and comfortable before outdoor time began 🌡️
We also make sure our safety supervisor’s vest are on and visible, helping children understand the importance of supervision and teamwork in keeping everyone safe.

These daily routines not only support children’s wellbeing and safety, but also encourage responsibility, awareness, and confidence as they learn through real-life experiences 🌞💫

At Papilio Early Learning Meadowbank our Nursery Room is a warm, nurturing space where our youngest learners feel safe, loved and supported every step of the way.

From cuddles and sensory play to music and meaningful connections, our educators create experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence and development in those precious early years ✨
