Old pub. New experience.

The Old Commodore Hotel has been part of the local community for generations, and the challenge wasn't simply adding new technology. It was introducing modern AV experiences while preserving the heritage character that makes the venue special.

From hidden infrastructure and integrated audio systems to IPTV and venue-wide control, every element was designed to complement the building rather than compete with it.

The result is a venue that still feels unmistakably like The Commodore Hotel, now equipped for modern hospitality and entertainment.

Another financial year nearly done and what a ride it's been.

From onsite installs and commissioning to service calls, project management, sales, design, administration and everything in between, our team has been hard at work delivering for our clients every day.

Whether they're onsite, in the office or working remotely, everyone plays their part in keeping the wheels turning.

Projects have started, projects have finished, systems have been maintained and clients have been supported every step of the way.

We love what we do, and we think that passion shows in the results we deliver.

Also introducing our newest team member - Harry - already making waves as Install Technician and imbibing the AVIT spirit.

A huge thank you to the entire AVIT team for another fantastic year.

Kirrawee Library+ has been a great example of that.

Hearing how easy the system is to use, how flexible the spaces are, and how it’s supporting day to day programs is exactly what we set out to achieve from the start.

That’s what good AV should do.

A great day at the Entech Roadshow with Adrian Davis presenting “Meet the Integrator” and diving into the current state of the AV industry and where it’s heading next.

The presentation covered some of the amazing projects we’ve worked on, what makes a venue AV system truly successful, and why reliability, flexibility and planning for the unexpected are more important than ever.

It was also fantastic catching up with other integrators and seeing the latest technology being showcased across the show floor.

Most people will never see this work once the ceiling goes in… but this is the stuff that makes systems reliable for years to come.

Taylor, Bruce and Zac absolutely nailed the cable rough-in for the sound masking infrastructure at our North Sydney showroom.

Clean runs, hard right angles, tidy looms and enough forethought to leave service slack exactly where it’s needed later.

Good infrastructure makes installs easier to finish, easier to service and easier to expand down the track.

At The AVIT Group, we genuinely love this side of the job. Probably more than we should.

And yes… the cable management appreciation posts will continue.
