Congratulations to Lucinda Scopelliti, recipient of the 2026 Colleen Blums Excellence in Nursing Award.

With 27 years dedicated to the Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) sector, Lucinda has built an extraordinary career spanning inpatient withdrawal services, nurse leadership, consultation liaison, custodial health, public health and now private telehealth care supporting patients across Australia. A passionate advocate for the sector, Lucinda has represented AOD nursing at local, state and federal levels.

In recognition of her achievement, Lucinda was presented with the Australian Medicines Handbook.

Congratulations, Lucinda, on this well-deserved recognition and thank you for your outstanding contribution to nursing and the AOD community.
