Studying German offers opportunities 🎓

Around 200 Year 9 and Year 10 students from schools across Sydney came together for a lively German Day at UNSW .

The event was officially opened by Consul General Felix Schwarz and gave students a chance to explore opportunities to continue German at UNSW and the University of Sydney, learn about DAAD scholarships, and discover courses and exams offered by the Goethe-Institut.

A real highlight of the day were the interactive speaking sessions, where students worked in mixed groups with peers from other schools. After enjoying a tasty lunch of fresh Bretzeln, we wrapped up the day with a guided campus tour.

Teaching German does not have to be a solo journey! 🇩🇪

The South Australian German Teachers Association (SAGTA) conference brought together passionate German teachers from across South Australia to learn, connect, and inspire each other.

We love creating these moments of exchange and strengthening the community together.
