๐Building connections from the very beginning.
This week, we were delighted to welcome Educational Leader Laura Reynolds and Stage 4 Early Childhood Teacher Emily Messina from Reddam ELS St Leonards to Reddam House North Shore.
The team toured our Kindergarten to Year 3 classrooms, meeting students and teachers while exploring new ways to strengthen the connection between ELS and Primary, and met with our Early Stage 1 Coordinator, Michelle Ryan, to discuss supporting a smooth transition from ELS to Primary School.
One special moment came when Year 1 student Everett, a proud ELS St Leonards alumnus, recognised his former teacher, Emily. He warmly welcomed the team into his classroom and introduced them to his classmates, showing exactly what our community is all about. ๐๐
Weโre looking forward to Kylie Chacon visiting ELS St Leonards next week as we continue building these meaningful connections!

๐ From work experience to ringing the ASX opening bell.
Year 11 student Damon Sukhla recently had the honour of ringing the opening bell at the ASX listing of the Global X ETFs Australia Space Tech ETF (ASX: MOON).
Damon first connected with Global X Australia during a work experience placement in 2025, where he was challenged to pitch a new ETF concept to the Investment Strategy team. Inspired by the rapidly growing space technology sector, Damon proposed both the investment theme and the ticker symbol MOON.
This week, he was invited back to the ASX to help celebrate the ETFโs launch and be recognised for the contribution he made to its journey.
We extend our sincere thanks to the team at Global X Australia, particularly CEO Alex Zaika, for their mentorship and for providing Damon with such a rare and meaningful professional opportunity.
Congratulations, Damon. We are incredibly proud of your curiosity, initiative and achievement, and look forward to seeing where your passion for finance and investing takes you next. ๐๐

๐๏ธ Leadership in action.
Recently, two of our Year 6 Student Leaders had the opportunity to attend a special leadership experience hosted by Felicity Wilson MP at Parliament House.
The experience included observing Question Time, learning about the role of elected representatives, and participating in discussions about leadership, service and civic responsibility.
Experiences like these provide valuable insight into how government works while encouraging our students to think critically about the qualities of effective leadership and the positive impact they can have within their own communities.
Thank you to Felicity Wilson and her team for providing such a meaningful and memorable opportunity.

๐ Looking ahead and planning for the future.
Last night, students in Years 7, 8 and 10, along with their parents, attended our Elective Subject Information Evening to explore the exciting pathways and opportunities available to them in the years ahead.
The evening provided valuable insights into our elective offerings, helping students make informed decisions about their academic journey while discovering subjects that align with their interests, strengths and aspirations.
Thank you to our staff, students and families for joining us. We look forward to seeing where their choices take them.
