love from families💚
Grace Village is a boutique early learning centre for children 6 weeks to 5 years. Grace Village Early Learning has taken a new approach to early learning.
Rooted in pedagogy and relationships, we are a Third Place, a sanctuary where childhood is honoured, community is cultivated, and learning becomes a lifelong path. Childcare reimagined.

Some if most meaningful inquiries do not begin with a planned experience. They begin with children.
Over recent months, children became fascinated by the bugs they discovered throughout our outdoor environment. As they carefully collected insects and created temporary homes using bowls, pots, and loose parts, a question emerged:
“If we care so much about these bugs, what could we create for them?”
The answer came from the children. A Bug Hotel.
What followed was not a craft activity, but a sustained inquiry into habitat, care, belonging, and responsibility. Through drawings, conversations, construction, and collaborative planning, children developed theories about what bugs need to survive and thrive.
Inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, we view children as capable and competent learners whose ideas deserve to be heard, explored, and made visible. The Bug Hotel became a tangible expression of children’s thinking, a place where imagination, science, design, and care converged.
Yesterday, with the support of Lyla’s dad, children’s theories became reality. They watched plans become structures and ideas become part of our environment.
Yet perhaps the most beautiful part of inquiry is that it never really ends.
As the Bug Hotel took shape, a new curiosity emerged:
“What does Lyla’s dad do for work?”
And just like that, our next inquiry begins.
Because children were never simply building a bug hotel.
They were building a theory of care, belonging, and their relationship with the living world around them.
It takes a village to raise a child, and we’re honoured to be yours.

Designed for children. Felt by families. 💚
The greatest measure of any environment isn’t what we build. It’s how people feel when they’re in it.
Thank you for trusting us with what matters most.
It takes a village to raise a child, and we’re honoured to be yours.

THIRD PLACE | Expression of Interest | Spring School Holiday Code Camp
At Grace Village, we often speak about being your village.
As part of our Third Place offering, we are always looking for meaningful ways to support families beyond the traditional early learning years. Many of our families have older children who have now moved on to primary school, yet remain an important part of our extended village community.
With this in mind, we are exploring the possibility of bringing Australia’s leading STEAM, technology and coding holiday program, Code Camp, to our THIRD SPACE during the upcoming Spring School Holidays
Code Camp has inspired more than 250,000 children across Australia through engaging programs in coding, robotics, animation, digital creativity, artificial intelligence, Minecraft engineering, design, drone technology and much more. Designed for children aged 5–13 years, these programs help children become creators, innovators and problem-solvers while having an incredible amount of fun.
This is not a booking at this stage.
We are simply seeking expressions of interest from families who may be interested in participating should we proceed with hosting a Spring School Holiday Code Camp experience at Grace Village.
We would love to hear from you if:
• You have a child aged 5–13 years
• Your child enjoys technology, creativity, problem solving or design
• You are looking for engaging school holiday experiences
• You would like access to future-focused learning opportunities within your own village community
If there is enough interest from our families, we will work with Code Camp to explore hosting a range of exciting programs during the Spring School Holidays.

As always, we are committed to creating opportunities that make family life a little easier while providing children with inspiring experiences that help them grow, create and thrive.
Because it takes a village to raise a child, and sometimes that village extends well beyond the early years.
When Clay Becomes a Language 🌱
What began as a simple invitation to explore clay quickly evolved into a rich landscape of ideas, relationships, theories, and stories. There was no predetermined outcome, no template to follow, and no adult-designed model to replicate. Instead, children were trusted as capable protagonists of their own learning, collaboratively negotiating meaning through the language of clay.
As children shaped pathways, enclosed spaces, structures, and symbols, they engaged in the work of researchers, architects, engineers, storytellers, and problem-solvers. Ideas were tested, revised, challenged, and expanded through dialogue with both the material and one another. The clay became a medium for thinking.
From a Reggio Emilia perspective, clay represents one of the hundred languages of children, a material through which children can express theories that may not yet exist in words. The experience was not about creating an object; it was about creating understanding. Each mark, connection, and construction reflected the children’s attempts to make sense of their world and communicate their thinking to others.
This inquiry reminds us that learning is not delivered to children. Learning emerges when children are given the time, space, trust, and materials to follow their own questions. As educators, our role is not to direct the journey, but to listen deeply, observe carefully, and honour the theories unfolding before us.
At Grace Village EL, we believe children are not preparing for life, they are already living it. Through open-ended materials, collaborative inquiry, and child-led exploration, we create conditions where curiosity becomes curriculum and where learning is shaped by the ideas, questions, and possibilities children bring to the village each day. 💚
It takes a village to raise a child, and we are deeply honoured to be part of yours.

A day we will never forget 💚
There are moments in the life of a village that become part of its story forever.
Our Open Day was one of those moments.
For a few hours, our spaces were filled with laughter, conversations, curious children, familiar faces, and new friendships. Families wandered through the village, children explored with confidence and wonder, and our community came together to celebrate something we believe deeply in, that childhood deserves to be honoured.
We were privileged to officially mark this milestone alongside Stephen Bali MP and Hugh McDermott MP: State Member for Prospect, whose presence helped commemorate the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Grace Village EL.
While the building may have been the backdrop, the true celebration was seeing the vision realised, a place where architecture, nature, and pedagogy come together to honour childhood, inspire inquiry, and create opportunities for learning through relationships and play .
To every family who attended, thank you for taking the time to share in this experience with us.
To our partners, supporters, and wider community, thank you for believing in the vision.
And to our extraordinary team, thank you for opening your hearts and creating an atmosphere that felt warm, welcoming, and unmistakably Grace Village. You are the reason our philosophy can be felt the moment people walk through our doors.
At Grace Village, we often say that education begins with relationships.
Open Day was a beautiful reminder of exactly that.
Thank you for helping us create a day that celebrated not just a place, but a community.
It takes a village to raise a child, and we are honoured to be part of yours. 🌱
Wow… what a beautiful day 💚
Seeing families, children, educators and our wider community come together reminded us exactly what Grace Village is about.
A place grounded in relationships.
A place where children are honoured and safe.
A place where community matters.
From the conversations in the piazza, to children exploring the spaces, to old and new families connecting every moment reflected the heart behind our village.
Thank you to everyone who joined us, supported us and took the time to experience what Grace Village EL stands for.
It takes a village to raise a child, and we are truly honoured to be yours.🌱
