LITTLE ATHLETES, BIG SMILES.
Our Kindergarten, Year 1 and Year 2 students had a fantastic time rotating through a variety of fun and exciting athletic activities at our K-2 Athletics Carnival today, showing great enthusiasm, encouragement and sportsmanship along the way.
A big thank you to our wonderful student helpers for assisting throughout the morning, and to all of the parents and carers who joined us and helped make the carnival so special (even participating in their very own event - well done!).

Our Senior Music students spent the day at the legendary Grove Studios, laying down tracks in the very same rooms where music history is made. Watching them step up to professional consoles and bring their craft to life was unforgettable.

CRITICAL THINKING MINDS WITH BRIGHT FUTURES
Our Year 6 debating teams stepped up to a huge academic challenge today, facing off against tough competition from the Richard Gill School.
We fielded two separate teams to debate opposite sides of the very same topic: "It is more important to learn from history than focus on the future."
Our students shone with the Affirmative Team taking home the WIN. Congratulations to Scarlett M, Samara W, Piper J, and Taya K, with the Negative Team coming away as close runners-up. Congratulations to Adalise B, Amelia H, Annabella C, and Jack G.
We are proud of how articulately, respectfully, and confidently all of these students represented GPCC. The future (and history) is bright with these leaders in the making.

A BEARY SPECIAL DAY
This week our Kindergarten classes enjoyed a much-loved and highly anticipated annual tradition — our Teddy Bears’ Picnic.
With their favourite cuddly companions by their side, our young learners gathered for a delightful picnic experience. They enjoyed spending time outdoors, meeting the bears, and each received a scrumptious cookie from our special guests.
Moments like these remind us just how magical early childhood can be.
