You also need to be mindful that you need to be careful what you say on Facebook if you have parents as friends as comments made online can be misunderstood and could result in parental complaints made to your principal. Yesterday marked the official launch of the new Centre for Learning and Innovation at James Busby High School—a state-of-the-art Trade Training Centre and a wonderful addition for our students.

This centre represents a significant milestone for the school community and our local network, providing fantastic opportunities for hands-on learning and skills development.

We’re thrilled to know that our students who attend James Busby High in the future will benefit greatly from these innovative facilities as they prepare for bright futures ahead!

🌿 NAIDOC Week Celebration 🌿

Busby West Public School invites our families and community to join us for our NAIDOC celebration on Thursday, 25 June, commencing at 9:20am. Come and celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples with us. We look forward to sharing special activities, performances and traditions together. All are welcome!

Stage 1 students are very excited for their excursion tomorrow to the Early Start Discovery Space! It’s sure to be a fantastic day of hands-on learning and exploring. Please ensure your child comes prepared with a packed lunch, water bottle, and suitable clothing. We can’t wait to see all the fun and discoveries!

Today we said goodbye to Mr Ling! He dedicated 30 years with the NSW Department of Education and 28 of those at Busby West Public School. He has undoubtedly made a lasting impact on students, staff, and the school community. Wishing him all the best in his retirement and the new adventures ahead.
