Last night's Celebration Concert "Joy Unbound: Celebrating Women in Music" brought our community together for an inspiring evening honouring women in music, and the extraordinary dedication of our students. From powerful orchestral works to intimate solo performances, the program showcased the breadth of talent across our ensembles, including many of our Year 12 musicians in potentially their final major performances at Abbotsleigh.
A highlight of the evening was the premiere of Joy Unbound, composed by Samantha Walton with a stunning string arrangement by Harry Sdraulig, and our incredible special guests, Lyhra. The collaborations during the show embodied the spirit of the concert celebrating creativity, connection and the joy of making music together. Congratulations to all performers and staff who made the night such a memorable success.

Teams advancing to the finals will play for the title this Wednesday.

Our Year 9 Elective History students have become curators, historians, and storytellers all at once! After exploring the art of museum design and diving deep into the remarkable - and often overlooked - contributions of women throughout history, they brought it all to life in the Museum of Feisty Females. We were thrilled to open the doors to families and invite them to experience these thoughtfully curated exhibits, created entirely by our students.
